How we fixed it: We engaged a third-party mobile notary service with robust E&O and implemented Remote Online Notarization (RON) where permitted.

2. Before: Falling victim to false wire change instructions.
How we fixed it: We led insurer negotiations and developed a comprehensive Best Practices manual and training program with built in checks and balances focusing on social engineering to prevent future fraud. Implemented fraud prevention technology.

3. Before: The Parent of the title company which supplied most of the business sold the unit which generated the bulk of the volume.
How we fixed it: We restructured the company to better capitalize on growth opportunities, coached the leadership team, and helped their sales staff build on what little independent business they had. Shifted the mindset of the team from being freaked out (scarcity) to one of optimism and abundance. Getting them to be outwardly focused when their competitors were inwardly focused enabled them to capture new opportunities and market share from their competitors. The client is now profitable again.

4. Before: National Settlement Services provider facing plummeting margins
How we fixed it: We taught the company’s leaders how to manage a downturn, added new operational managers, designed and implemented a cultural reset, consolidated infrastructure, revisited underwriter selection, added Business Process Outsourcing (to create a variable cost structure), implemented Best Practices, and helped them diversify their business lines.
